Who Am I

Okay, so I’m guessing you’re interested in hiring a life coach yes? Well good, because if the answer was no I would really question why your here. I mean it’s not just to look at the pictures is it. As pretty as they are obviously. So lets assume you are thinking of hiring a coach. That tells me something, it tells me that you want something to change. Yes? See, I’m good at this.

Well congratualtions. You have achieved stage 1 - Wanting to make a change.

So often we go through life settling. Settling for who we are, what we are, how we feel. We become comfortable. We begin to accept our reality and forget that things could, and should, be better. Things like going to the gym more, eating more healthy, earning more money, feeling better about ourselves. Being able to look in the mirror and actually like whats looking back at us, even without a six pack.

We forget that a life like that can exist. We see it all over social media. Countless people with the most amazing lives and we say to ourselves ‘yes, but that can’t happen to me, nothing good happens to me’.

We settle.

The fact that you are here, the fact that you are thinking of making a change tells me you are no longer willing to settle.

It might be that you finally want to be consistent going the gym and live that healthy lifestyle, or you want to stop thinking so negatively. Or maybe you finally want to get over that ex that takes up so much of your thoughts. Or maybe, just maybe, you just want to feel good about yourself again.

Well that my friend, is stage 2 - Making the change.

And thats my cue. This is where I come in.

Now lets get things straight, I can’t make the change for you. Absolutely not. But what I can do, is show you how.

I can show you how to develop a mindset to get your arse out of bed each day and hit that gym, or go for that walk. I can show you how to think more positively, how to overcome self-belief issues, how to believe in yourself to such an extent that it doesnt matter what the rest of the world thinks about you, because you think highly enough of yourself.

I can show you all of that and more.

I can show you how to overcome motivation issues, how to be consistent even when you feel like s**t. I can show you how to implement a self-care plan so strong that your ex could walk up to you right now and your heart wouldn’t miss a single beat.

I can show you how to create a confidence so that nothing will seem impossible. I can show you how to not only achieve your goals, but surpass them.

Okay, how about I show you how to start viewing life through a positive lens, rather than a negative one? A lens by which you suddenly see yourself and the world around you in a positive, upbeat way.

I can do that by showing you how to increase your self esteem. And by doing so you will make better decisions, more confident decisions, stick to healthy habits, chase that dream job, get over your ex, or even just be happy with what you have right now. Because ive shown you how.

And I can show you because of two things:

  2. Ive done it myself.

So you see this isnt about just sitting and talking to someone whos read a few motivational quotes in a handbook. Ive studied, gained my qualifications, but I’ve walked the walk. Ive been where you are right now and I am living proof that change is 100% possible.

Thanks for taking this time out of your day (or night) to have a mooch at what I do. My name is Andy, i’m a life coach who has also survived heartbreak, grief, depression, anxiety and a s**t ton of other stuff, like we all have. And I’m here to not only tell the tale, but help others like you.

My Coaching Style

Ask yourself honestly, what do you want in a coach? This is an important question, because even though life coaching might be right for you, finding the right coach might be different.

As you will see below, I specialise in Self-Esteem and Motivation. My job is pretty simple, to help you reach your goal, whatever that may be. Whilst you won’t be paying me to become your best friend, I do pride myself on developing a really strong and trustworthy relationships with all my clients. I want you to succeed, and will do everything in my power to help you do just that.

I will push you, challenge you, motivate and encourage you. It can feel uncomfortable at times, but my sole aim is to get results for you. So when considering the coach you want, ask yourself again, am I more interested in my coach being a nice person (which I really am) or do I want results? It is you that is parting with your hard earned money, make it worth it.

Self-Esteem plays such an important role in our lives, yet it is often the one we neglect the most. No motivation to do the things you need, no time, accepting failure, getting comfortable with not feeling great. These are all excuses I used myself, not realising the drastic changes I could make with just a few positive changes.

I firmly believe that this key ingredient plays a vital part in many areas of our lives, and by addressing YOUR self-esteem, you can have great success in whatever you set out to achieve.

To provide further context, the following are some examples of issues I often assist my clients with:

Heartbreak

Possibly one of the most common issues I help clients with. We all go through heartbreak in our lives, and it is never easy. Immediately after a relationship breakdown, we suffer a period of mourning. We have lost something from our lives and need to grieve. This is a natural process and something we should never be ashamed of.

However, from time to time it may hit us harder than ever before, and we can get ‘stuck’ in one of the many stages of grief. It can feel like our lives are on hold, that every minute of every day we think about our ex. Why did it end? What are they now doing? How can I win them back?

We can get a sick feeling deep in the pits of our stomach, and it just wont go away.

If this was a movie, this would be the point were I burst through the door (wearing a cape), with the words ‘don’t worry, I am here to help’.

Using a variety of techniques, I can help navigate you through the turmoil that is a relationship breakdown. Help you find some inner peace, and move you from a state of panic and depression, to optimism and hope.

I can help you let go and finally find your new path forwards.

Goals

We all have goals in life, some we reach, some we don’t. When we think of setting goals many people just assume it’s to get fit, or earn more money. The problem is these can be too broad. Being specific on what your goals are is essential in order to devise a plan on how to reach them. I have helped many clients, with a variety of different goals. From health and fitness goals, to career and love, and everything in between. I’ve had clients who’s goal was to break a bad habit, like quitting smoking, or to eat more healthy.

Whatever your goal is, I help guide you to them. Looking firstly at narrowing down your specific goals, what exactly it is you want to achieve. What are the barriers that is stopping you, and how do we overcome them.

With a big emphasis on mindset, we will look at the science of how the mind works. Why do we find it so hard to break a habit and introduce a new one, and what can we do about it.

With proven techniques, I will help you finally get on that path to glory.

Work Life Balance

Life is all about balance. Without striking the correct balance, things can become unsteady. Whenever our lives are out of balance, it can affect our well-being. Things just don’t seem to feel right. You can have the most successful business in the world, but feeling low because you have limited friends.

You can have all the friends and family someone could wish for, but lack confidence in the workplace and feel anxious and depressed.

We can sometimes look like we have everything going for us, but are not giving enough time to certain areas of our lives.

Addressing your work life balance can help you feel fulfilled, nourished and happy, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start.

That’s again were I can step in.

I can help you identify those areas of your life that need some TLC. Together we can figure out why you have neglected those areas, sometimes its through fear (for instance fearful you are not good enough at your job so work longer hours to make up for it), sometimes it’s just life.

What is Well-Being?

‘Wellbeing refers to a state of being healthy, happy, and comfortable, both physically and mentally.’

Our Well-Being is the fundamentals of our happiness. It is a state of mind that allows us to face life’s challenges without falling into despair. It is the ability to wake up of a morning not feeling great, but still having a great day. Well-Being is not about being on top of the world all day everyday, but about having the positive mindset to face any challenge. To enjoy the good times and not panic over the not so good.

When our well-being is strong, our lives become more enriched. We see the positives in situations, feel strong, confident and in control. With this mindset it is truly amazing, not only what we can achieve, but what we can overcome.

I use a combination of techniques to improve your thought patterns, overcome limiting beliefs about yourself and become mentally stronger. As a Mind-Body practitioner I also use the power of meditation, breath work and grounding exercises to bring both the mind and body together as one, improving both mental health and physical health.
